Soil is the important non renewable resource .The life cycle of all living things begins from & ends in soil.
There are lots of types in the world. But we are going to think about Indian soil. Alluvial soil,
Black soil, Red soil, Laterite soil are the types of soils in India.
n It takes thousands of years for a one centimeter thick layer of soil to form. But, rain or winds can carry away, or erode, this layer in a few hours. We must prevent the erosion of soil caused by the cutting down of forests or by floods. We must also prevent pollution of soil and protect this important resource .
To overcome the high dependability of soil can be reduced by using soil less agriculture.
Due to urbanization the agriculture land is shrinking . The demand of crops is increasing where as supplies are not sufficient .
Due to pollution the fertile land is also reducing.
Climate imbalance is leading to damage the crops.
